Hotels open during the crisis

If you haven't been able to return home and have nowhere to stay, the Spanish authorities have published a list of hotels and short-stay accommodation that will remain open during the state of emergency. Not for tourism but only within the existing rules.

Tourist accommodation is still closed to the general public however on 25-03-2020 a list of selected hotels was published that must offer accommodation to workers who must carry out maintenance, healthcare, supply of agricultural and fishery products, ship crews and other essential serviced.

These hotels will also provide accommodation to people who have to travel to attend to the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities, especially vulnerable people or those in need of health care, in accordance with the anticipated situations of Royal Decree 463/2020, of 14 March, as well as to all those people who due to force majeure or are in a situation  of need and require urgent accommodation.

Other hotels and apartments that are not listed may provide accommodation exclusively to the groups mentioned above. In this, they will have to observe the protection measures and instructions of the Ministry of Health aimed at avoiding the spread of COVID-19.        (Source)
