Golf El Rompido

The unique climate of the area allows this course to be played at any time of the year. Inaugurated in 2006, it was designed by Álvaro Arana whose main aim was to respect the environment. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Piedras River marshlands and weaves it way through pine trees and orange groves. Monjas del Carmen

This popular three-star hotel is located on a quiet pedestrian street yet close to Plaza Nueva. In a period building, it offers just 33 rooms, all with flat-screen TV with satellite channels; some have balconies looking onto small, pretty squares. Rooms are soundproofed, essential in the city centre near so many bars. WIFI is available, for an extra charge.

Estepona Hotel Reviews

Estepona has a growing selection of hotels. The most expensive and luxurious hotels in Estepona are the Kempinski and Villa Padierna, both a few kilometres to the east of the town. The H10 and the Hotel Fuerte Estepona are situated 2km west and are both frontline to the beach, ideal for families.

Castilleja de Guzmán

Castilleja de Guzmán as an agricultural village achieved great importance during Moorish reign, so much so that Commander Almanzor resided here. It has about 2800 inhabitants.

Parador de Cordoba

The Parador in Córdoba is in the northern part of the city of Córdoba, and provides the perfect starting point for discovering the wonders of Córdoba province. It is built upon the ruins of the summer palace of Abderramán I. Nestled into the foothills of the Córdoban mountain range and surrounded by trees and greenery this location is reported to be about 4 degrees cooler than the provincial capital.

Barcelo Monte Castillo Golf

This five-star hotel is situated on the Monte Castillo golf course, on the road from Jerez to Arcos de la Frontera (A382) and handily located for the airport; guests can enjoy free unlimited rounds on the 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus, which has hosted the Volvo Masters. It's also very close to the Jerez Formula One Motor Racing Circuit, used for Motorcycle Grand Prix (Moto GP) every April.

Carvajal, district of Fuengirola

Carvajal is Fuengirola's most easterly district which overlaps into Benalmadena. It is mostly known for the Carvajal beach and public promenade which runs the entire length of the district. There is a train station here on the Fuengirola to Malaga cercanias line.

La Ermita del Calvario

The hermitage building was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century, with records dating back to 1829. It is believed that this hermitage was at first constructed for lepers who were encouraged to reside out of town. Since 1875, however, the site was established as a sacred building. The original building was distroyed in the Civil War in May 1936 and the present structure rebuilt after the Civil War.
