This exceptional chapel was founded by Don Francisco de los Cobos y Molina, Commander Major of León of the Order of Santiago, Adelantado de Cazorla and many other titles granted by his Lord, Emperor Carlos I, of whom he was Secretary of State, and who served effectively in the management of the business of the Spanish Empire.

The chapel is steeped in religious tradition.

Marbella Bus Station is situated on Avenida Trapiche, just off the A-7 motorway to the North of the town centre. It is approximately 1.5 km from the Old Town.  Marbella Bus Station has 14 platforms.

There is a bus service from Albuñol to Granada, Motril, Madrid and Almería using the bus company, ALSA.

This archaeological site is located between the Guadix and Baza depressions, where the Guadiana Menor and Fardes rivers converge.
