A graduate of Kings College London. Chris is a computer programmer based in Kingston upon Thames, London. Together with Chris Chaplow, they established their first internet venture in 1995 and inaugurated Andalucia.com the following year. Chris brings valuable computing and business skills to the company as a founding director.

As well as her blog and other features for Andalucia.com, Fiona writes freelance articles for newspapers, magazines and websites including the Telegraph, Independent, the Sunday Times, and Food & Travel; she also wrote part of the Lonely Planet guide, Experience Andalucia, and has translated a book on sherry, The Book of Sherry Wines.

Alex Cutts is a journalist and festival writer with a passion for Andalusian culture. She has immersed herself into the region’s vibrant music scene, exploring how flamenco and local festivals reflect the spirit and identity of Andalucía.

Sinéad is an experienced freelance communications consultant who writes and edits copy for various organisations worldwide. Kevin was born in Seville and has lived in Marbella all his life. He is bilingual thanks to an English father and Spanish mother. Kevin studied law at Málaga University and was awarded a Degree in 2012. After practicing law for some years, he joined Andalucia.com in 2018.

Saskia is a Spanish national and was educated in the UK. She had always longed to return to Spain and once graduating from University in 2011 with a degree in Equine Sciences, came back to Andalucia to pursue her passion of horses.

Diana graduated from Camilo José Cela University in Madrid with a degree in Journalism, and later completed a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture at Rey Juan Carlos University. Her main areas of interest within writing are culture, travel, and music.

Clash frontman Joe Strummer had two daughters with his partner Gaby Salter: Jazz Domino Holly Mellor, born on18 November 1983, and Lola Maybellene Mellor, born on 12 January 1986.

Alex began writing for Andalucia.com in November 2021. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2020 with a first class honours degree in Journalism. Her particular interests within writing are food, travel and music.

Tiquets resolutely began all over again, raising capital for a new company and recruiting old and new miners. One such new recruit was a young tailor from Valencia called Francisco Thomas Saenz, who became his right-hand man.

Florence’s ongoing projects focus on Andalucia’s international cultural history in the context of art, music and literature. She hopes to broaden her understanding of the region and transfer this knowledge to the site. Aside from this, Florence is passionate about slow travel and environmental issues concerning tourism. She works for the AEF (Aviation Environment Federation) as a communications officer and freelances as a copyeditor and writer.

Sam joined the editorial team in June 2018. Originally from Wales, he graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 1^st Class Hons degree in English Literature. He has a particular interest in historic buildings, heritage sites, and cultural traditions, and enjoys using the writing skills garnered during his studies to produce copy on these subjects.
