It will be visible as a partial eclipse across all of Spain, but only as a total eclipse in southern Andalucia, Ceuta, and Melilla. It will last for 4.5 minutes in Tarifa, Gibraltar and Cueta, 3 minutes in Cadiz and 1 minute in Malaga and on the Costa del Sol and less in Almeria city.

The total eclipse of 2026 passed over northern Spain from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean coast as well as the Balearic Islands. The total eclipse wwas visible from the cities of La Coruña, Valencia, Zaragoza, Palma and Bilbao, but both Madrid and Barcelona were just outside the path of totality. The Eclipse lasted from 20.27 to 20.32 hrs CEST.
