Centro de Interpretación Almazara La Erilla in Nigüelas
The tour is very comprehensive, starting in the transport yard and continuing with the rigorous circuit of the harvested olives. Visitors can observe two milling systems with a history spanning more than five centuries: the blood mill (animal traction), dating back to the Iberian-Roman era, and the hydraulic mill, dating back to the medieval era, which has all its original machinery intact. Almazara La Erilla also has facilities that can be used for public and cultural activities, and it has become the go-to place for extra virgin olive oil tastings in the province of Granada. It is located on Calle del Canalón.
