Lobras
THINGS TO SEE
Centro de Interpretación de la Música Lombarda
This museum exhibits musical instruments from 'El Viaje de Lúa', a journey around the world through rhythms and melodies, and the materials used to make instruments for liturgy, spiritual invocation, courtship and entertainment. Some of the materials used in their construction include wood, cane, bamboo, gourds, coconuts, seeds, skins, bones, horns, clay and metal. The aim of the exhibition, which features more than 400 traditional instruments from around the world, is to promote music to children and adults. There are also concerts, shows and guided tours as part of a new educational and exhibition concept, with the main objective of establishing Lobras as the musical hub of Granada and Andalusia. The museum is located in Plaza de la Iglesia.
