Camping La Bella Vista, Manilva

Camping La Bella Vista is a popular seafront caravan and camping site located ajacent to the A-7 coast road in the west of Manilva municipal district. It is found between Puerto de la Duquesa and Punta de la Chulera.

A kilometre west of Camping La Bella Vista, is Puerto de la Duquesa with its recreational port and accompanying 18 hole golf facilities. To the east of Punta de la Chullera, just  around the corner is  Sotogrande which offers an upmarket marina, world class golf, polo, private international schools, numerous restaurants and an outdoor weekend market bartering away everything from antiques and fine arts to African imports and homespun arts and crafts.

The beaches of Manilva in the west sport low cliffs and rugged areas in contrast to the flatter sandy beaches stretching up and down the coast on either side.  These are comfortably warm, Mediterranean waters, thanks to the fact that we haven't yet rounded the Punto de Europa and headed west towards Atlantic temperatures. Diving and snorkeling here is popular and rod fishing is excellent.

The site of Camping Chullera II (See photo from 1960s) was cleared.
