Faralá - One Michelin Star Restaurants in Granada
Faralá is located below the Alhambra, Granda’s magnificent hilltop palace. The restaurant is led by chef Cristina Jiménez, a welcome female protagonist among the male-majority gastronomic scene in both Andalucia and Spain in general. Jimenez states that her restaurant encapsulates the magic and charm of her city forged over centuries, rooted to the land of blood and flamenco.
Her three menus have poetic names: Alborán (€120, plus €68 for wine pairing) has 16 courses – Riofrio trout tartlet and Motril prawns with tapioca are typical dishes. She also offers The Magic of Albaicin (€93, plus €50 for pairing), and Whispers of Sacromonte (€74, plus €36 for pairing).
Faralá was awarded its Michelin star in 2026.
