Making a Living Will

Andalucia's Living Will registry was created at the end of 2003 in order to ensure patients wishes regarding medical procedures are respected in situations where they are unable to make or express their decisions. Any adult or officially "emancipated" minor can register a living will. Its contents will be private and thus only available to the doctor attending the patient during a time of crises.

Palacio Episcopal / Bishops Palace

The Palacio Episcopal houses a small collection of religious paintings and effigies. A permanent exhibition called "Ars Sacra" is part of the patromony of the Malaga province dioceses and has been collected from a number of churches.

Puente de Lata

The bridge was formerly located in the town of Gor and was built at the beginning of the 20th century to carry the railway line between Guadix and Baza. Following a series of failures, a smaller bridge was built and the original bridge fell into disuse. TEGSA, the company building the tram line from Granada to Dúrcal, decided to purchase the superstructure of the bridge.

Estepona offers numerous bars with music in the town centre. Here is a guide to a wide array of venues, ranging from those open during the day and on into evening to the latest of the late night clubs. The bars in the town are generally less expensive as they are geared to a local crowd as opposed to tourists. This is a great area to visit to see something different, including more than one positively unique bar.

Roman Villa de las Torres, Estepona

Villa Romana de las Torres, Estepona is located immediately beside the Torre Guadalmansa watchtower. There were excavations in 1915-16 and 1929 which revealed an extensive Roman villa complex. The first excavation uncovered the remains of a large building and several pools, which led the leader of the dig, José Martinez Oppelt, to conclude that it had been a termas, or bath house.

This fashionable bar opens Tuesday till Sunday. 12-4pm and 8pm till midnight. Here tapas of salmon are marinated in vanilla and lemon, wild mushrooms are sautéed with Spanish onions and garnished with jamon serrano. Say goodbye to traditional tapas.

Buying a Car

To buy a car in Spain on needs more than just money. You will agree the price and payment terms with the dealer who will usually handle all the paperwork for the vehicle transfer procedures and if a new car pay the taxes on your behalf. If you have a used car that you wish to scrap when you buy a new one, the government will reduce your new car tax by 480.80 euros or 721.00 euros if you scrap a leaded fuel car for an unleaded fuel one.

Ermita de la Trinidad

The construction of this hermitage dates back to the beginning of the eighteenth century. It was built on an old lazaretto where the sick from the cholera epidemics that hit Andalusia at the beginning of the century were isolated.

Ceuta See & Do - Late Roman Basilica

This museum was created when the remains of the Late Roman Basilica were discovered. They are of great historic importance since they are the only Christian remains on these shores of the Mediterranean from the fourth century. The Basilica is a building formed by a single rectangular room and two side naves, made of stone from local quarries. From studies conducted, it is now known that it is an unfinished monument, either for historical reasons related to the area or because it was used as a cemetery.
