Iglesia de la Encarnación

The church was designed according to the Gothic lexicography of the early sixteenth century. Its plan consists of three naves, separated by cruciform pillars, covered with a Mudejar roof that, in the eighteenth century, was camouflaged with false ribbed vaults.

Estepona Mural - Llegando a tu destino

Llegando a tu destino (Arriving at your destination) is a mural by DOURONE. The artists are Fabio López (Madrid) and Elodie Arshak (Francia). Their artistic name Dourone was created when Fabio began to create graffiti in 1999 and joined up with Elodieloll in 2012. The mural is located on extention of Avenida San Lorenzo 17. This mural was included in the in the 'Inaugural International Mural Competition of Estepona - 2017'.

The Truth about Tapas

Granada is one of the last towns in Spain where you still get a free tapa with every glass of wine or beer. We have our earliest record of this marvellous tradition from King Alfonso 10th "El Sabio" (whose wisdom extended also to music and poetry, as lovers of the cantigas de Santa Maria are well aware).

Bardal restaurant Ronda

Bardal gained its first Michelin star in November 2017, shortly after opening in July 2016. Just two years later, in November 2019, it moved up to two-star status. Chef Benito Gomez, who is originally from Barcelona, previously worked in La Alqueria, in Hotel Hacienda Benazuza (now closed) in Sanlucar la Mayor (Seville), and before opening Bardal he had another restaurant nearby in Ronda, Tragata.

Wild Flowers - Cistus albidus

Cistus are often referred to as rock or sun roses because of their appearance and habitat.

This particular species, Cistus albidus, usually forms nice compact,woody, evergreenshrubs, growing to around 1m tall and 1m wide. It gets its common name from its soft-velvetystalkless leaves,which have a greyish-white appearance due to a fine covering of fine hairs on both surfaces of the leaf.
