Monte Halcones is a post-2000 estate on a steep hillside which offers magnificent views back to the coast. It comprises 10 ochre-coloured apartment blocks set in tropical gardens.
Los Halcones shopping centre is found at the entrance to the estate and includes a SuperCor supermarket a health food store and bars and cafés. There is an access route through the estate to La Quinta.
