Nueva Andalucia Artisan Market

One of the largest flea markets on the Costa del Sol takes place every Saturday morning, with over 120 stalls. It is situated next to Marbella Arena (former Puerto Banus Bullring) and opposite Puerto Banus. Also called Mercadillo de Nueva Andalucía, it is a great rambling flea market, a mini "Rastro" where you can find everything from a wooden elephant to a woolly jumper. There is also a wide variety of spices, paintings, crafts, furniture, textiles and antiques. The market is a great place to visit especially if you are looking for a bargain. There are also café bars surrounding the market place where you can relax and watch the world go by after a hard days haggling!

Access:
There is a car park under the 'Centro Plaza' shopping centre, next to the market. Alternatively, there is an open car park by the Hard Rock Hotel, which is just a short walk from the market. However, be aware that the market is especially busy on market days, so you should arrive very early to get a parking space. Most parking in the surrounding residential streets is haphazard. If you take the local bus from Marbella, it goes directly to Puerto Banus, and the market is just a short walk from the bus stop via the underpass of the A-7 coastal highway and up the hill to the Market.
