The church has a meticulously crafted Mudejar coffered ceiling, and the interior particularly stands out for its simplicity and beauty. According to the 1578-79 visit to the Alpujarras, Alonso López de Carvajal states that the church still had its old mosque. Despite undergoing many reforms over the years, it still has a beautiful Mudejar framework. It is located on Calle Iglesia.
