Covarrones de Cortes
The Medieval Caves from the Almohad Period are a series of caves that were excavated into a cliff face over four levels, each with different functions such as bedrooms, alcoves and dovecotes. They are connected by tunnels and stairways. The rooms on the lowest level, which are almost buried, would have served as stables, and slits in the façade prove the existence of attached buildings. The second section, consisting of a series of independent caves excavated at the same level, is located on the other side, next to a ravine.
