The church is large like most of those in La Alpujarra, made of brick, covered with lime almost all the building. The tower, free of this covering, is the most typically Mudejar. The interior has a nave divided by a triumphal arch and the framework, of great beauty, raised to a higher height than the presbytery, where there is a neo-Gothic, gilded altarpiece, under a large crucifix.
