The Nerja Museum explains the history and the natural and cultural heritage of Nerja and is run by the Cueva de Nerja Foundation.

This Municipal Museum was opened in 1995 in the interesting Palacio Abacial with the aim of exhibiting and conserving local artefacts.

Baza Musem features a selection of artefacts on display that show different periods of human occupation in Baeza. This interesting Archaelogical museum is located in the Casa del Ajibe (still known as old Town Hall) on Plaza Blas Infantes. The museum houses over 400 pieces from several eras, including remains from the Palaeolithic era
