Bunker Beach Club
Bunker Beach Club Bunker Beach Club is not a traditional beach club, but rather a laid back beach bar, or chiringuito, located just west of Sotogrande’s western boundary, above the high water mark on the public Guadalquitón Beach, which fronts the unfenced private Finca Guadalquitón. The Guadalquitón estate, now abandoned and used as a hunting ground, lies within the extended Alcornocales Natural Park, a rural area between the Sotogrande and Alcaidesa resorts. While there is no access to the estate from the A-7 service road, it can be reached via the beach, locally known as Bunker Beach. Bunker Beach Club is considered a hip, cosy, and romantic spot with a casual vibe, offering coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert, along with a children’s menu and live music. It’s a family-friendly venue known for its beachside BBQ menu, chill atmosphere, and proximity to nature, serving tasty home-cooked food, fresh seafood, a good wine list, and fast, friendly service. Although there is no formal car park, limited free parking is available next door at the site of the Sotogrande Waste Water Treatment Plant on Paseo del Parque.

World War Two Bunker Beach Club
World War Two Bunker Bunker Beach club is located next to the historic WW2 bunker and from which the beach bar takes its name. Five hundred defences were urgently built by General Franco in 1939 at the end of the Spanish Civil War. Some were converted from temporary civil war field fortifications into the permanent fortifications that remain today. This bunker is the most easterly of the defensive line which stretches for about 100 kilometres as far as Calas de Roche in Chiclana. They were built as a defence against a possible Allied invasion from Gibraltar where British and French troops were stationed. As it transpired, the invasion never came and the bunkers were never needed. Other nearby bunkers can be seen in La Linea and Tarifa, and in the ancient Roman town of Carteia, where a bunker has been turned into a museum. A comprehensive catalogue of the western set of bunkers has been produced by Ángel J. Sáez Rodríguez called Fortines del sur zona oriental" and can be downloaded as 500 page PDF.

Trocadero Club de Playa
Trocadero Sotogrande is a beach club with restaurant. Located in the Beach apartments area between Rio Guadiaro and the Marina.

Ocotogono Beach Club
Octogono Beach Club and tennis club was constructed and opened at the same time as Sotogrande Marina in 1987.

La Brisa Sotogrande

Gigi's Beach

Torreguadiaro Beach Bars

Between Sotogrande and Torreguadiaro there is a wide stretch of beach. The sands are in front two old watchtowers, which give the beach and nearby village their name. Laguna de Torreguadiaro is a small nature reserve located behind the sand where there are boardwalks and birders' hides to explore. During the summer, a water sports station is set up on the beach, and a children's play area sits near the car park. Torreguadiaro Beach runs from the car park by the old watchtower to the Sotogrande Marina breakwater. It is not the beach in front of the Torreguadiaro village and is regularly awarded a Blue Flag and has a Lifeguard tower, first aid posts. The car park behind the beach is substantial, but fills up quickly during the summer months.

Chiringuito Chambao
Traditional beach bar, with various cocktails. Restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Regular live music and DJs. Sunbeds available.

Chiringuito Bahia Limon
Happening place for food, cocktails, music and ambience on the beach. Paella served form 14.00 hrs. Booking a table is recommended at weekends. Live music on Saturday evenings. Open 11.00 to 04.00 hrs during summer. Tel:  626 40 73 47.

La Reserva Beach
Surprising that we inclide a beach club in the inland part of Sotogrande. Not a mis-location. The Beach @ La Reserva is a popular upmarket beach club with an man-made lagoon in La Reserva.
