Bolonia

Apartments and Guest houses in Bolonia

There is a lack of hotels in Bolonia, as it is, for the most part, an undiscovered paradise on the Costa de la Luz. However, being one of the nicest resorts near Tarifa and Zahara de los Atunes, it does have a small collection of guesthouses and smaller, cheap hotels located on or next to the beach.

Serenade Bolonia

At the far end of the village there is a field that also operates as an unofficial car park which is looked after by security volunteers. Nearby, on the beach with its own parking area is the Serenade Bolonia beach bar.

Duna de Bolonia Natural Monument

The Duna de Bolonia, covering around 131m², is protected for its geological interest. It is located at the village of Bolonia, on the headland of Punta Camarinal, exposed to the ferocious easterly levante winds. At its highest point, the dune measures around 30m.

Baelo Claudia

Baelo Claudia, near Tarifa, is one of Andalucia´s most significant and well-preserved Roman archeological sites. The extensive ruins are situated on the Costa de la Luz, some 15km north of Tarifa, by the small town of Bolonia and its beautiful beach. The site´s important history rests on the former city having been a strategic point for trade routes between Europe and North Africa.

Love Garden

Set in Bolonia, 50 km from Benalup Golf & Country Club, Love Garden offers air-conditioned accommodation and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy mountain views.
