Ferries - Tarifa to Tangier, Morocco

The route between Tarifa (Cost de la Luz, Spain) and the buzzing city of Tangier Ville (Morocco) is the  recommended route for travellers. Frequent ferries also connect nearby Algeciras with Ceuta (Spanish enclave in North Africa) and Tangier MED which is the out-of-town port better suited for those driving south in Morocco. These hourly ferry crossings can be taken as an individual ticketed passenger or as part of a guided day tour or overnight excursions.

Boat & Ferry Rides

Some companies offer luxury yacht and boat hire, a luxury sailing concierge, who can arrange almost everything from sunset cruises with fine dining to trips to Morocco and Portugal. All in all it's great to see Andalucia from the sea.

Sanlúcar de Barrameda - Ferry to Doñana

You can catch the open ferry boats from Playa Bajo de Guia over the Guadalquivir river to the shores of Parque Nacional de Doñana (and back again). From here you can walk along the beach or walk a little way into the park, although there is not much to see at this point. Special permission is required to enter the park at this point in a motor vehicle.
