Seville is a marvel. It’s a city of various diverse (and wildly beautiful) neighbourhoods: the narrow alleyways of the Barrio de Santa Cruz are lined with glorious old palaces and stunning plazas, while Alfalfa, Triana, the Macarena and Santa Catalina all teem with life.
Like many destinations in Andalucia, accommodation in Seville is not too overpriced and there are many different types of reasonable accommodation to choose from. Due to the city's colourful, lively ambience, Seville attracts many tourists and travellers keen to get involved in the fun.
With so many budget-friendly places to stay on offer, it won't be difficult to find a hostal or shared hostel accommodation in the centre of the city. However, if you're looking for a less busy, quieter spot, opt for a neighbourhood situated more towards the outskirts of the city, such as Nervion or Los Remedios (note that the latter is packed, and prohibitively expensive, during Feria).
Stay in a hostel in Seville's historic centre, a renovated house inspired by modern art, or a restored townhouse in the romantic Barrio Santa Cruz neighbourhood. Most Seville hostels are within walking distance of all the main sights. Cool off on a rooftop terrace and admire the breathtaking views of the cathedral.

Hostals and Hostels definition
A HOSTAL (also know as a guest house) provides basic accommodation at a reasonable price, with a private room. These are common in Spain and not hard to find, with many occupying a floor of an apartment block as opposed to a stand-alone building. Rooms don't all come with en-suite facilities, however guests will usually have the option of either private or shared bathroom.
A HOSTEL in Spain offers the opportunity to stay in shared dorms at a low price. These are often social hubs among travellers, with basic kitchens, common rooms and rooftop terraces and, at times, cheap bars, making them excellent places to meet new people or find a travel companion. Many hostels also have private rooms available, as well as dorms.
