This vast park covers 167,767ha from Tarifa in the south to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in the north. It is named after its handsome and beautifully kept cork tree grove, the largest in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important ones in the world.
Little Africa Animal Reserve (Reserva Animal La Pequeña Africa) is a zoo located in the neighbourhood of Los Ángeles, next to the village of Jimena de la Frontera. It was created to help conserve part of the region’s (and even the country’s) natural heritage.

The bus stop in Jimena is on the circular turn round at the top of Avenida de Deportes near Calle Roma. There is another bus stop in 'Estacion de Jimena' district on the A-405 near Calle Gaucin. There is a bus service four times a day Monday to Friday from Jimena de La Frontera to San Pablo and to Castellar, Estacion San Roque and Algeciras; and another service once a day to La Linea.
Jimena de la Frontera is a historic village located about 35 kilometers inland from San Roque on the road and railway to Ronda. Surrounded by the Los Alcornocales Natural Park and at around 200 meters above sea level, Jimena is a surprising contrast to the coastal affluence of the nearby golf and polo belt in the exclusive area of Sotogrande below.
