Astral Cocktail Bar

This popular open-air bar finds itself next to the entrance to the marina at the start of Playa Puerto Banus. Built like a wooden pirate's ship, this unmissable cocktail bar has been a fixture in Puerto Banus since 2002. Serves unique fresh fruit cocktails which can be sipped while admiring the sea views from the terrace or garden that runs onto the beach.

Nightlife in Puerto Banus

Marbella is one of the most famous places in Europe for its glamorous nightlife scene, however, many of the most exclusive venues can be found in Puerto Banus. Although Puerto Banus is in no way tranquil by day, it definitely comes alive at night, especially during the summer months, with both a local and tourist crowd. The club-going crowd here tends to dress up in their most glamorous outfits and highest heels.

Shopping in Puerto Banus

Despite being fairly small in size, Puerto Banus is a haven for shop-a-holics. With everything from one of the biggest Corte Inglés department stores in Spain and plenty of highstreet names, to top-end designer luxury brand boutiques, Puerto Banus is it all.

Getting There

Puerto Banus is located on the Costa del Sol between Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara, just off the Autovía del Mediterráneo A-7 road. It is easy to reach by car. If driving from San Pedro in the direction of Marbella, take the clearly signposted exit 174 off the A-7. If you are driving from Marbella towards San Pedro, come off at exit 175 and follow the signs. Both exits will bring you directly into the eastern end of Puerto Banus by Playa Puerto Banus.

Beach Clubs

Puerto Banus is well-known for its two luxury beach clubs: Sala Beach and Ocean Club Marbella. And they really are luxury: think champagne parties, lounging on beds by an inviting blue pool while being served a gourmet lunch by attentative staff.

Beaches

Puerto Banús is home to three beaches: Playa Nueva Andalucia, Playa Puerto Banus (also known as Playa de Levante) and Playa del Rio Verde. The three beaches are all very different from each other, so you are sure to find one that suits your taste. Playa Nueva Andalucia and Playa del Rio Verde have both been awarded a blue flag by the European Union for their excellent facilities and high standards of cleanliness.

Buses

There is not a bus station in Puerto Banus, however the centre is served by Marbella's local urbano buses. There is a bus stop on the far side of the A-7 (cross under the bridge) for stopping services L-79 to Estepona and San Pedro. There is a bus stop on the near side of the A-7 for stopping services L-79 to Marbella centre, La Cañada Shopping centre and Marbella Bus Station.

La Sala by the Sea, Marbella

Marbella’s first boutique beach club, Buddha Beach became Sala Beach in 2012 and later La Sala by the Sea. It offers a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting near Puerto Banus. Previously a private front line villa with large beach-front garden and swimming pool. The poolside restaurant with sun loungers is open for day and evening dining, including a selection of Thai fusion food and sushi, and sun lounger service includes a snack menu throughout the day.

Ocean Club Marbella

Ocean Club Marbella is one of the largest beach clubs in Europe. It offers a new concept in exclusivity, avant-garde, fashion and cuisine, created to enjoy the excellent climate in Marbella.

International Artisan Market in Puerto Banus

This open air market takes place everyday over the summer, or just on Saturdays for the rest of the year, on Plaza Antonio Banderas in Puerto Banus between the port and the Corte Ingles shopping centre. There are 25 stalls selling unique art objects, ceramics, vintage clothing & accessories, handmade jewellery, glass and fragrances.

Dreamers

Dearmers has been closed since end of season 2019. Dreamers which had reopened quietly on the 28th June 2018 was always known to many regulars to Marbella as the large nightclub oposite Puerto Banus even though the venue has had many reincarnations over the last few years. We are Back!

Nueva Andalucia Artisan Market

One of the largest flea markets on the Costa del Sol takes place every Saturday morning, with over 120 stalls. It is situated next to the bullring of Puerto Banus is a great rambling flea market, a mini "Rastro" where you can find everything from a wooden elephant to a woolly jumper.

Salduba Pub

Located in the corner of the marina on the front line. Attracts the over-spill from the other bars along the road.Plenty of outdoor seating makes it the perfect location to sip a drink and people watch.

Joys Live

Modern and popular music venue front line in Puerto Banus. Live music at 23.30. Joys live used to be called 'Old Joy's' and was one of the longest open and popular pubs in Puerto Banus. it was established in 1977. Plush velvet decor, live piano music and singers have been attracting crowds of revellers to this venue for years.

Linekers lounge

Linekers Lounge is situated on the second line at Puerto Banus, Linekers is one of the most famous bars in the port. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the largest bar in Puerto Banus, where every night live sports from around the world are broadcast on huge plasma screens. Hen and stag parties are one of Lineker´s specialities and there is also a fabulous VIP area available for hire.

Scream

Situated in the heart of Puerto Banus, on the second line, this club is a must for lovers of loud music. As the name suggests it is a lively and often raucous venue, and Scream attracts a predominantly young crowd. Dance music booms out until the early hours of the morning, and many guest DJs take to the decks during the summer time. Opened in 1995.

O' Grady's Pub in puerto Banus

Bustling Irish bar located on the second line. Popular with young locals and tourists, many of whom are (not surprisingly) from Ireland. Resident DJ but not too much room to dance. An outdoor bar is useful for quick service and for watching major sports events.

Sinatra's Bar in Puerto Banus

This very popular bar is an icon of the Puerto Banus marina front. Always busy, it's an ideal place to relax during the day, while at night it transforms into a who's who of Puerto Banus - great for celebrity spotting! Not to be missed on a night (or day) out in Puerto Banus. Located on the front line next to Saldubas Bar which on the corner by the entrance.

Pangea

Pangea is the place to see and be seen in Puerto Banus. Enjoying an unbeatable location at the swanky end of Puerto Banus where the big boats are, Pangea is one of the most luxurious clubs in the port. Boasting the ultimate in luxurious decor, Pangea is a stylish South Beach-meets-the-souk nightclub with a sultry al fresco terrace.
