Santa Margarita was the name of the farming estate that was originally purchased to create the Marbella Club.
Just to the east of the Marbella Club another archway leads into what was a patio and is now a car park and the location of the MC Café for less formal quality dining. One of the villas with access directly onto the Golden Mile was Villa Tiberio restaurant, opened in 1989 by host Sandro Morelli. Villa Tiberia closed in March 2024 and will reopen in late 2025 as Tata Marbella.
