Golden Mile Mountainside Districts - Monte Paraiso
Monte Paraiso is a fully-gated estate north of the Golden Mile opposite the Puente Romano Hotel and above the mosque. Constructed in 1997, it has immaculately lush tropical gardens, four outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, a squash court, a massage room, sauna and steam room, and an indoor pool. Entrance is through a grand gated double arch. There are 93 apartments spread out in 16 low-rise residential blocks, as well as a summer restaurant for residents and guests only, a children's playground and 24-hour security service.
Lomas del Rey - is a residential complex next to to Monte Paraiso
The well know and respected Restaurant La Meridiana is located in this neighbourhood.
Viña de Marfilis is a zone on the northern side of the Istán road. It is largely undeveloped and a well-kept open road leads up to the security and trades car park and entrance for King Fahd Alsaud's palace.
The A-7176 road to Istán village is the western boundary of Las Lomas de Marbella Club. In the area to the west the A-7176 is a mix of commercial areas, older villas and several complexes.
Adjacent to the Golden Mile is the spacious Oasis Business Centre, a commercial centre constructed in the 1980s but not becoming popular until 2010. It contains Ibermaison and Mala Vida nightclub. There is an underpass here under the Golden Mile to the Oasis Club, sea-front promenade and beach.
Behind the commercial centre are a few villa plots and a modern development, El Oasis de Marbella, featuring lush tropical gardens.
