Malaga Hotels with Rooftop Terrace Bars
Malaga city has one of the best combined offerings for visitors: great beaches, excellent tapas bars, good shopping, superb museums - so what better way to round off a day of culture, eating out and walks along the seafront than with a "gintonic" on a rooftop terrace?
Many hotels in the city now boast these wonderful bars with fabulous views and lively atmosphere. Most have a contemporary feel, with sleek furniture, wooden decking and glass walls, for optimum vistas of the city.
Here is our guide to the hotels with rooftop terrace bars - they're all open to hotel guests and non-guests, so head up for an evening of admiring the cathedral, port and Mediterranean Sea from a bird's eye view. Most are open from April to September, while some remain open all year round, with reduced hours for example at weekends only.
Not a roof terrace but - Calle Larios is the focal point for many activities throughout the year, from a long catwalk during Malaga Fashion Week to the light show for the switching on of the Christmas lights, usually on the last weekend in November. A great vantage point for activities is the 7th floor cocktail bar called 'La 7' in the 5* Soho Boutique Hotel, located on the Alameda just opposite Calle Larrios. The cocktail bar's balcony and terrace offer stunning views.
