El Torcal de Antequera

Striking limestone rock formations

Just outside Antequera, the El Torcal Natural Area is one of Andalucía’s most striking landscapes — a surreal world of weather-sculpted limestone towers and labyrinthine rock formations. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, El Torcal offers a choice of well-marked walking trails for all levels, revealing panoramic views and a sense of ancient mystery. El Torcal is nature at its most dramatic, whether you’re hiking among the twisted stone pillars or spotting birds of prey and wild goats.

The Next Big Thing in Search: GEO Is Here

At Andalucia.com, we’ve always believed in staying one step ahead in website technology - and now we’re embracing the next revolution in digital visibility: GEO Search.

GEO, or Generative Engine Optimisation (also known as AI SEO or AI Search), is all about helping your business appear in the answers generated by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Google AI Overviews. Instead of just ranking on a search engine, GEO helps your brand become part of the conversation in relevant and engaging tailored replies to questions like:

“Who’s the best real estate agent in Marbella for customer service?”

We’re already running audit trials with early adopter clients, measuring how visible their businesses are in AI-generated responses. And next month, our Managing Director Chris Chaplow will be a VIP attendee at the official GEO Conference in San Francisco, alongside Evan Bailyn, leader of the US’s leading SEO firm, who coined the term “GEO.”

It feels a little déjà vu — back in April 2000, Chris attended search engine expert Danny Sullivan's first international SEO Strategies Conference in London, where, unbelievably, Google wasn’t even mentioned! Once again, we’re witnessing the birth of something that’s set to transform how people find information online.

✨ GEO search is here to stay — now’s the time to get visible in AI search results.
