FIBES - Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre - Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones
The largest conference centre (or congress hall) in Andalucia, FIBES is located to the east of the city, between the centre and the airport.
It features a main auditorium that seats over 3,000 people, and three exhibition halls of 7,200m2 each, as well as numerous other meeting rooms. In addition, it has restaurants and bars plus an outside area of 65,000m2.
FIBES hosts regular annual trade fairs, and conference and exhibition events such as:
- SIMOF (Semana International de Moda Flamenco) flamenco fashion week - every January
- Auténtica Premium Food - every September
- TIS (Tourism Innovation Summit) - every October
- SICAB (Salón Internacional del Caballo) Spanish thoroughbred equestrian fair - every November
- Mangafest - dedicated to manga comic books and graphic novels, anime, videogames, and Asian culture - every December
In June 2025, the UN held its 10-yearly Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) at FIBES, attended by many world leaders.
In 2019, the WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council) held its Global Summit - the tourism sector's leading annual event - at the conference centre, with Former US President Barack Obama as its headline speaker.
FIBES has also hosted awards such as the the MTV European Music Awards and the Goyas, the Spanish Oscars. In addition, concerts and shows are held at the venue.
Its full name, Feria Iberoamericana de Sevilla, refers to the Ibero-American Exhibition in 1929, known as Expo 29.

FIBES news for 2026
FIBES has been selected as the location in the Europe region to host the ICANN86 Policy Forum in June 2026.
ICANN is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers; it is the organisation that helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers - URLs - globally.
ICANN86 will be held from 8–11 June 2026. This is the first time that an ICANN Public Meeting will be held in Seville. ICANN63 was held in Barcelona in 2018. More about ICANN Public Meetings calendar, More about ICANN.

TAXI: FIBES is about 20-25 minutes (approximate fare 12-15 euros) from the centre by taxi. This is the easiest option. Public taxis are white with a yellow stripe; Uber, Cabify and Bolt also operate in Seville.
TRAIN: Cercanías line C4 circular trains from Sevilla Santa Justa train station to Palacio de Congresos station (for FIBES). Depart every 30 minutes.
As it’s a clockwise circular line, the outward journey from Sevilla Santa Justa station to FIBES station is shorter (7 mins) than the return journey from FIBES to Santa Justa (20 mins) renfe.es
BUS: Tussam (Seville city) buses 27 (from Plaza Ponce de Leon), LE (from Prado de San Sebastián bus station), and B4 (from San Bernardo train/metro station), as well as the TB1 tranvibus (from La Buhaira). These take around 30 minutes, and a single ticket costs 1.40 euro. tussam.es
Transport from the airport/train station to FIBES
FIBES is located 5km (15 mins) from both San Pablo airport and Sevilla Santa Justa train station. A taxi from/to the airport will cost you a set fare of 25.72 euros on weekdays, and 28.67 euros at weekends, with supplements for luggage. A taxi from/to the train station is around 6 euros.
