Granada Train Station
Granada Train Station is situated at the convergence of Calle de Halcon and Calle Doctor Jaime Garcia Royo. Trains are an easy way to travel to and from the city of Granada, it is also possible to take trains from Granada (RENFE) Train Station to towns in Granada province.
Trains from Granada were disrupted from 7th April 2015 to 26th June 2019 due to the construction of the high speed AVE line from Granada to Antequera.
Train Service
The services operating out of Granada train station are an AVE service from Granada Antequera, Cordoba, Madrid. Avant fast trains to Antequera Malaga and Seville (via Cordoba), Medium Distance trains to Almeria.

There are about eight high speed services a day to Loja. The non stop yourney takes 22 minutes.
There are also eight sevices a day west to Antiguera AV (station in the town) and Antequera Santa Ana (station outside the town). The journey takes about one hour 20 mins.
There are three direct trains a day trains to Malaga Maria Zambrano calling at Loja and Antequera AV (station in the town) but not Antequera Santa Ana (station outside the town).
There is one direct trains a day to Madrid, calling at Loja, Antiguera AV (station in the town) and Antequera Santa Ana (station outside the town) and Cordoba. The journey takes about 3 hrs 50 mins.
There are four direct trains a day to Seville, calling at Loja, Antiguera AV (station in the town) and Antequera Santa Ana (station outside the town), Puente Genil and Cordoba. The journey takes about 2 hrs 40 mins.
There are four direct trains a day to Almeria, calling at Iznalloz, Benalúa de Guadix, Guadix, Fiñana, Gergal, Gador and Almeria. The journey takes about three hours.

MEDIUM DISTANCE
Medium Distance trains run from Granada to Almeria via Iznalloz, Guadix and Moreda. Granada's suburban rail network des not exit however there is a city metro line and a bus service.

Granada train station has a cafe, a bus stop, a taxi rank and car hire offices to facilitate further travel on arrival at the Train Station, and also to allow easy access to the Station from around Granada. there are no left luggage facilities.
