Here is an informative page regarding taxis in Estepona. Estepona Taxi are white in colour with the oficial logo on the side door and a sign on the roof. They also bear the small 'SP' plate and the rear number plate will be white letters on blue background. All taxis have a registered number; up to 80 identified on the outside of the Taxi in a circle.

A taxi with a green light on the roof is available for hire. It is posiblte to hail a taxi with green roof light driving along the street in Estepona, however it is not normal practice. The normal practice is to book one by telephone or go to a taxi rank.

A taxi form Estepona can take you from anywhere within the municipal district to any destination single or return. It can not collect a service starting from a neighbouring town such as Marbella or Manilva. An exception is a pre-booked Estepona taxi can collect a passenger from Malaga Airport or Malaga Seaport for a journet to Estepona.
