Marbella Business Institute (MBI)

Founded in 1982 by a small group of locally-based international businessmen the MBI operates on an informal basis. Meetings are now held at lunchtime on the last Friday of the month with invited guest speakers on a variety of business-related subjects. The MBI operates on an invitation-only basis and as such there are no members. Regular attendees may introduce other guests by nominating them to the committee. This does not however preclude people who believe they qualify from applying independently for an invitation. Although primarily set up as an international business association there are now many local Spanish businessmen who find the luncheon meetings beneficial and are regular attendees. The MBI is open to retired and semi-retired business people of all nationalities. Now known as Marbella Business International.
