Louie Louie Rock music bar, located in the Edificio PuertoSol, Estepona Marina, next to O' Donoghues Irish Pub, opened in 2013. (Previous bars in this location were La Bomba, Ebola, Comic & Doñana in the early 1990s). Louie Louie Live regularly hosts a mix of bands from Malaga, Seville and northern Spain, and often big name bands from the UK, USA, EU and Australia on European tours - quite an achievement for a small venue. Best known for rock and blues bands.

Typicaly open Wednesday to Saturday. Thursday night popular Karioke, Friday touring band or tribute, Saturday early set (21.00) resident KP Band (Kevin and Paul) playing rock classics (free entry), set change at 23.30 to touring band, tribute or DJ.

Tickets range from €5 (local bands) to €12 or even €20 for international touring bands, with free entry on non-band nights or earlier in the evening. Drinks are reasonably priced.

Louie Louie has a outside terrace open 21.00 to 02.00 which does not require concert admission tickets. The was revamped and relaunched as a more chill out rock terrace (is there such a thing?) in July 2026.

Tribute bands often play at weekends. Louie Louie is a popular bar with a very friendly atmosphere created by its diverse clientele and staff. If you read the reviews, this 'temple of rock' is considered by many to be the best rock bar on the Costa del Sol. It is certainly unique in Andalucia. Once inside you could be forgiven for thinking you had been teleported to Los Angeles; lots of neon, Jack Daniels stage sign and a mural of a girl on a Harley Davidson, actually painted by previous bar owners. The bar staff speak very good English. An outdoor terrace was added in the summer of 2020, which closes at 02:00 in accordance with local noise regulations. After that the music continues behind soundproof doors and walls until around 03:00 in winter and 06:00 in summer.

Arrival time: depends on the set, but Louie Louie's is quiet until around 23.00 except on Saturdays. bands tend to start a good half hour later than advertised.

Tickets can be purchased in advance with a discounted price on Woutick! or in advance from Louie Louie (ask at the bar) or on the door on the night. Some lower priced concerts only sell tickets on the door. Many concerts are free admission.
