Festival Interestelar Sevilla is a popular modern music festival that takes place each May at the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo at the Isla Cartuja to the west of the centre of Seville.

There are hundreds of music and dance festivals taking place in Andalucia every year, especially in the summer. Following widespread cancellations in 2020 and 2021. 2023 is another big year, organisers are notably publishing festival dates earlier and people are so ready to party!

This festival which celebrates its 32nd edition in 2026 features about 40 rockabilly, blues, surf, and boogie-woogie bands from Europe, and USA. Takes place 4-8th February 2026 in several venues in Torremolinos including the Principe de Asturias auditorium, the Hotel Barracuda and Plaza del Remo.

The 2024 edition of Primavera Trompetera Festival was due to take place at the motor racing Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto just outside the city on the 22nd and 23rd March 2024.However due to the adverse weather conditions in the form of great rainstorm the even was cancelled.

Some of the most celebrated names from the world of flamenco came together at the Flamenco Festival Trocadero in Sotogrande in summer 2022. The second edition of the festival, which presented a series of 14 concerts concerts.

The best funk festival in Spain takes place each year over two or three days in late July or early August. Two top bands perform each evening and the DJs play until dawn. First started in 2008, there is a large camping area in this beautiful rural location.

In November the Andres Segovia International Classical Guitar Competition takes place in La Heredura's beautiful San José Church. This annual event attracts leading classical guitarists under 35 years of age from around the world and its objective is to promote the diffusion and study of the guitar.

In 2026, Dreambeach will celebrate its 12th edition at a new location - Velez-Malaga. It has been renamed Dreambeach Costa del Sol and shortened from three to two music days.

This three (sometimes four) day music and dance festival, held just back from the Playa Poniente at Torre del Mar (Malaga) in July and sees about 25,000 people per night dance to bands and DJs on three stages.

Dreambeach 2019 was the seventh edition of Dreambeach. It took place on 7th and 10th August 2019. There were 160.000 auditorium gate passes over the five days. Some of the best DJs in the world played including Armin van Buuren, Seth Troxler, on Thursday Steve Aoki, Don Diablo, Paul Kalkbrenner and Adam Beyer.

One of the longest-running festivals in Andalucia, this weekend blues and rock event in Cazorla the mountain village in the Sierra de Cazola Natural park, Jaen Province, started in 1994. Many famous names, including Mick Taylor, Otis Grand and Dr Feelgood, have honoured the festival over the years.

The third edition of the Sotogrande Music Festival summer concert series took place in the grounds of the Santa Maria Polo Club Los Pinos fields in July and August 2024.

The seventh edition of the Sun&Snow Weekend Festival will takes place on the first weekend of April 2026. The festival that takes the European club scene to new heights (2,500m) and is now firmly established in the dance music calendar.

A successful inaugural edition of this Andalucia tourist board sponsored event took place in 2022 at the Feria (Fairground) west of city centre in Málaga from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th September 2022. This inaugural edition attracted about 100.000 over the three days to the three stage 50.000 m2 arena.

Dreambeach 2020 - The eigth edition of the Dreambeach festival that wuold have taken place in August 2020 was cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and the travel restrictions.

Dreambeach 2018 was the sixth edition of Dreambeach. The festival took place from the 8th to 12th August 2018. There were three days of artists on the main stages. Total auditorium passes were 155.000 which equals an attendance of 50.000 over the three days.

Dreambeach 2014 was the fourth edition of Dreambeach. It took place on 3 days 11th to 13th August 2016.

Dreambeach 2015 was the third edition of Dreambeach. It took place on 9th and 10th August 2015. Artists included Fatboy Slim, Nina Kraviz, Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Paco Osuna, Sigma, Matador, Eric Prydz, Luciano, Blasterjaxx and many others.
