Resort Hotels in Andalucia

A resort hotel is defined as a full-service lodging facility, meaning that it is a self-contained establishment that fulfils most of the guests’ needs within the premises.

These hotels usually offer extensive grounds with numerous facilities such as restaurants, bars, kids’ clubs, swimming pools, entertainment, fitness centres, gyms and other sports facilities, beach clubs, golf courses, spas, and even shops. The range of services and amenities is typically much larger than a traditional hotel’s, making it a convenient place for all types of guests, particularly families and large groups, but also smaller parties and couples.

The hotel is usually central to the resort, and many people don’t need to leave the resort at it provides everything they need during their stay, from meals and drinks to entertainment. There may also be residential villas and apartments within the resort.

In British English, as opposed to American English, the term ‘resort’ also refers to a seaside town popular with tourists. We include these seaside hotels in Coastal Hotels.
