Park Beach - Estepona districts
By Sinéad Mangan-Mc Hale
Along the eastern coastline of Estepona, adjacent to the Guadalmansa district, is the area known as Park Beach. On the coastal side, it is a small area extending from the Park Beach development to Calle Tamesis. It is a low-density residential area and has a designated camping and caravan site.
Beaches
Visitors to this district have easy access to the eastern end of the Playa de Guadalmansa. With its greyish-pebbled sand, it is a quiet but appealing beach retreat. The beach here is popular with wiind and kite surfers and close to freedom Kitesurf school. The quiet beach was also known as Heaven Beach from the amusingly named beach bar 'Heaven' which burned down in April 2018. Alternatives Beach Bars are Baraka and Tikitano Restaurant. See Estepona Beach Bar Guide.
URBANISATIONS - Housing complexes
The main residential area is Park Beach, a complex with apartments and duplexes constructed in 1997 just five minutes from the beach along the Avenue Del Rhin. The urbanisation has a pool and well-maintained common gardens. Closer to the beach and Coastal path is Heaven Beach Apartments.
Coastal Path
The Senda Litoral (Coastal Path) extends along the district, allowing visitors to walk along the eastern coastline line towards Estepona town and western districts. The path is very popular with locals and visitors; many use it as a hiking, running or cycling trail.
Camper Park
Park Beach district is home to Camper Park Gregorio Beach, a simple but clean, well-equipped, pet-friendly campsite. The camping site, close to the beach, Playa de Guadalmansa, has pitches available for motorhomes, caravans and campers. The campsite is open all year, and in addition to having facilities such as electricity supply, laundry, toilets and showers, it offers campers free wi-fi onsite. Opened in 2023.
Restaurants
Visitors to both Beach Park Urbanisation and Camper Park Gregorio Beach can dine or enjoy refreshments at Gregorio Restaurant within the camper park. The restaurant also offers sun loungers for rent for those who want to relax within the park.

Bus Service
While there is a public bus service to and from Estepona to Marbella, there are no bus stops in the Park Beach district. However, within a very short walking distance, visitors can take the service from the Venta Los Niños (4105) bus stop by the Villacana Club in the Villacana district.
L-79 Estepona - Marbella to and from Marbella town, La Cañada Shopping centre and Marbella Bus Station. There is also the E-3 Microbus (only four services a day) to and from Estepona town. Timetable and live wait times.
Car Hire, Taxi and Transfers
In addition to hiring a car in Estepona, Malaga Airport, or Gibraltar Airport, Estepona taxis and several firms offer private transfers by minibus car or limousine to and from the airport and the surrounding areas. Bolt and Uber Apps also work within the district.
For those who want to enjoy more of the sights of Andalucía, the district is situated close to the A-7 coastal highway and within a short distance of the AP-7 toll road. This road is typically quieter, but there are toll booths at Manilva, San Pedro and Calahonda in both directions – tolls can be paid in cash, by credit card, or VIA-T (non-stopping) so visitors can easily access destinations on either side of Estepona. Along the coast to the west, these include Sotogrande, Gibraltar, Tarifa and the golden sand beaches of Costa de la Luz. Along the coast to the east, these include Marbella and Malaga. They can also explore the inland villages of Casares and Gaucin on the road to Ronda. Not forgetting the magnificent cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
